All the praises and thanks be to Allah
A PROJECT OF ALKHIDMAT FOUNDATION
will be a welcoming and inclusive place for the community to perform prayers and other religious activities.
Donors are warmly invited to contribute to the construction of the mosque. Donations can be made according to the donor's preference, with opportunities to sponsor specific sections such as the basement, the minaret, the ground floor, the first floor, or the second floor. Each floor will be named in honor of the esteemed donors who provide sponsorship.
Masjid Rehmat Jan, a project of Alkhidmat Foundation, is registered and currently under construction in Malik Colony, Chakri Road, Rawalpindi. This masjid spans a covered area of 2660 sqft and features a comprehensive design to serve the community. The basement will house a madrasa, while the ground floor will include a spacious prayer hall, ablution areas, bathrooms, an open space, a minaret, and a dedicated area for funeral prayers (namaz-e-janaza). The first floor will have a dedicated prayer hall for women, library, ablution area, bathrooms and a conference room, and a dar-ul-ifta. The second floor will provide residential space and a fiber rooftop for additional gatherings. The masjid will have an 80 feet tall minaret.
Located in a densely populated area, Masjid Rehmat Jan will be a welcoming and inclusive place for the community to perform prayers and other religious activities. The masjid’s committee comprises seven members from the local community and Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers, ensuring it meets the community’s needs. Designed meticulously, the building will also feature an Alkhidmat Dispensary to serve the needy and underprivileged. Additionally, the conference room will also serve Alkhidmat Foundation volunteers in their community service and planning efforts.
An additional 4 marlas of land were purchased to extend the mosque. A temporary shelter has been set up to start the prayers, and Alhamdulillah, Taraweeh prayers were held this Ramadan and the previous year. Additionally, more than 50 children from the local community attend daily Quran classes.
The construction of the mosque is meticulously planned by the Alkhidmat Foundation. Comprehensive maps and detailed drawings for electricity, plumbing, water supply, and sewerage have been created. The Bill of Quantities (BOQ) is currently being prepared. The project will be awarded to a renowned and experienced builder through a formal tendering process. Additionally, a dedicated website and social media pages will be launched to keep the community and esteemed donors informed about the progress.
